It’s exciting to see a new addition to the Curvy Kate collection as always; and the Romance didn’t disappoint. Unlike any other bra I have, it’s romantic in every sense of the word. With intricate mock-Baroque detailing, given an update with clashing colours it’s simply beautiful to look at. A more grown up CK set than some of its predecessors, it still feels fun and flirty so whist being original it still fits right in with the Curvy Kate ethos. A welcome new addition, I chose the Romance in this stunning cream-white colour with the rich teal detailing, as I’m on a bit of a mission to find some white and nude coloured bras that suit my skin tone and that I can wear to work. I found this set a bit too white to be considered a ‘nude’ bra even on my pale-as-paper complexion, yet the tone is not exactly a stark or harsh white, it’s a very delicate pearly off white. The briefs are gorgeous and has a double layered panel over the intimate area, hiding what you may not want to have on show. It’s only a second layer of the very sheer fabric yet definitely ups the coverage. Clever CK! The shape, uplift and feel of this bra very much reminded my of the Emily which (as I’m sure you’ve now gathered) is one of my favourite Curvy Kate bras.
